News, Events, Community "All Things Redlands"

Tell me what you like about the Redlands Web. I like the "small town" atmosphere of the City of Redlands, and this newsblog. If I want to find out what's going on, I can find it here. Thank you editors and staff.

There are many things to like about the City of Redlands but one that has a big impact on our personal lives is the fact that (at least where we live in Redlands) so many things (from necessities, to leisure, to physical and spiritual improvement) are accessible to us through walking, biking or use of public transportation. Reliance upon a car or motor vehicle is not necessary in the part of Redlands that we reside. This fact alone gives us a degree of satisfaction in knowing that we are doing our part to help the environment to thrive by limiting our use of gasoline powered vehicles not to mention the health benefits received.

I agree Debbie,

I love how Redlands gives me the feeling of being "home" anytime I am in the city proper.  Our Firemen, Our Policemen, and our City Workers make me feel safe, secure and "taken care of".  I cannot imagine anywhere I'd live, that gives me that satisfaction.  I like the Website because it gives me an idea as to what is going on in town, gives me new ideas to go explore (I transplanted here 6 years ago) and allows me to work to build a new friend base.  I hope more people come on board and get involved as the website seems it might have potential for great things in helping our city thrive!

Redlands has alot to offer, and it is my sincere hope this website will add to that list.  I'd like to see more community events listed, such as what is going on at the Redlands Bowl, or new shops that open up in town, the website could be used by them as possible advertising, helping us keep more money into the city.

I like the newsblog best, because it lets me get my opinions out, let's me feel as if I'm contributing, and make me get more involved into things "Redlands specific" outside of the website. It creates the desire to know more about our fair city, its history, and all it has to offer!
