Looking for a great Redlands location to host an event...
For the last three years I have participated in Share Our Strength's Great American Bake Sale. Each year I have held the event in Riverside (twice at the Riverside Plaza, once downtown near the Mission Inn). But this year I would really like to host the sale in Redlands (where I currently live), because I love the downtown area and the community feel. My sale started small the first year, but I have increased our goal steadily each year, making the event much bigger each year. I want to make this event even bigger and better this year! But...before the planning can begin, the most important aspect is the LOCATION!
I'm looking for suggestions/input on where the event can really succeed, get a lot of foot traffic, publicity, etc. Ideally, I would like to make this part of some other larger event. This is such a great cause, and who doesn't want baked goodies? Any suggestions are greatly welcomed. I always look for support from local Riverside businesses and many have been generous, but I would really like the community of Redlands to pull together to promote their own businesses while helping out a great cause.

How about Market night in downtown, I have not been there in a few years but I heard it is still booming and its right by where Jenny was talking about.

My name is Jenny and I know of a great location to hold your event. It's in Redlands too! The Fox Event Center located at 123 Cajon St.
It's a great place and the people work with you to make your event sensational.
My Sister-in-law is having a wedding there and they give an ad space for your event so you can put up a special poster in front of the Fox Theatre.
Oh, and the fun part... you can have your event in lights on a marquee.
